Making plans for a kids pirate party is almost as fun as the party itself. When guests arrive, you can hand them red sashes they can wrap around their waist and homemade "pirate hooks" made from solo cups and aluminum foil. Have pirate themed music playing in the background, and let the little ones pillage and plunder to their hearts content.

Pirate themed games are fun and add extra excitement to the party. Games like treasure hunt games are great, when made similar to a scavenger hunt, or make them so party goers receive clues about where a treasure is hidden, then have them work together to find the hidden treasure.
