All Hands on Deck!

It’s that time again, so break out that monkey jacket and put some grit in ye throat. That’s right! It’s Talk Like a Pirate Day once again. Monday, September 19th is almost here and you probably haven’t brushed up on your favorite pirate lingo yet, let alone figured out what you are going to wear to the party. Talk Like a Pirate Day has been around for nine years and continues to fill its sails with the jib holding fast. So, get decked out in your favorite pirate costume and join the boarding party. The Jolly Roger will be flying near you soon.

Show up on deck in a fancy dress costume like the captain himself. A Grand Heritage Caribbean pirate costume will look dashing as you place your boot on the hogshead. Haven’t made captain quite yet? Deckhands wore a wide range of clothing, so be creative! You won’t be walking the plank in the Raider of the Sea adult pirate costume. Blackbeard would have considered it bad mojo to have a woman on board, so he is not invited to the party!

Adult pirate costumes for ladies range everywhere from Aarrgghh to Shiver me timbers! What kind of pirate do you want to be? How about a sassy Swash Buckler? Not the swashbuckling type? Maybe you are the elegant, yet boisterous Pirate Maiden? Either way, brandish your blade and prepare to defend yourself!

Let’s not forget the wee lads and lasses. A kids pirate costume will make them look like a Ghostship pirate, a Sea Maiden pirate or anything in-between. Deck them out and listen to them talk like a pirate. They probably know more than you!

Costume sizes range from toddler in the kids pirate costumes to plus sizes in the adult pirate costumes.
